Time to Breathe... It has been awhile since I have had time to post a blog about something other than Salt Lake Open Houses and New Homes listed for Sale by Linda Secrist and Associates. Across the Salt Lake Valley we have seen a recent increase in Real Estate inquiries, questions and calls concerning our Current active listings and Homes For Sale! We are working with many Home buyer's looking to purchase single family homes in Salt Lake City, Draper, Sandy and Holladay. The last several months have been very productive. We have sold several of our Luxury Homes, managed to obtain approval on Short Sale Listings and BANK OWNED HOMES. We have written many offers to purchase Real Estate in all price ranges and even managed to get a few offers accepted, under contract and eventually sold. This is due to great efforts by all of our team member's. I'm not sure of the exact numbers but Real Estate Agents and Realtors I have been talking to all seem to be seeing a pick up in the Housing Market. Inventory of current Homes For sale in Salt Lake County is at a very noticeable low. New active Short Sales listings, Bank Owned Homes and REO PROPERTY in and around the SALT LAKE VALLEY are also down. Though distressed property will continue to be a factor in our Real Estate Market this is still good news to me and what I feel may be the start of a slow and highly anticipated Real Estate Recovery.  Let's keep our fingers crossed.
